Two arrested after 127kg of cocaine seized at Ambassador Bridge

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has reported the arrest of two men from the GTA after a cocaine seizure last month in Windsor.

CBSA agents sent a commercial trailer to secondary inspection at the Ambassador Bridge on September 11.

The trailer was searched with the aid of a detector dog, and 127 kilograms of suspected cocaine were uncovered.

The drugs were seized and two people from Mississauga, a 61-year-old man and a 41-year-old man, were arrested. Both have been turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, along with the drugs.

The charges have not been proven in court. The case will be heard at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.
