Dog lovers in the Municipality of Leamington will be able to enjoy a local dog park again starting Monday.
The Bayview Park dog area on Bevel Line will reopen after a month-long hiatus due to ongoing construction at the park.
But the Municipality says work will continue.
"Construction will continue in the areas surrounding the dog park," read the notice from the Municipality. "Gates leading to these areas will remain locked, and only the north entrance to the dog park will be open to the public. Residents are asked to remain within the designated dog park area and respect all construction barriers and signage."
Minor work may continue in the dog park itself, though efforts will be made to keep it open.
The Bayview Park makeover also includes new walking paths, lights, a playground and recreational spaces, washrooms, and parking lots.
