Windsor police are investigating after several Bird e-scooters were stolen in the Walkerville area.
The electric scooters were stolen from the area of Wyandotte Street East and Windermere Road between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. on August 4.
Investigators determined the e-scooters were stripped for parts, including their battery mechanisms, rendering them inoperable.
One of the stolen e-scooters was recovered cut in half in an alley near Ouellette Avenue and Park Street.
Police are asking business owners and residents in the area to check their surveillance cameras for evidence that may help in their investigation.
So far in 2026, 18 Bird e-scooters have been reported stolen in Windsor.
