The transformation of Adie Knox is still underway, but outside drainage improvements have been completed.
The improvements store water underground to reduce the risk of sewer overflows and basement flooding. The project was completed in part with $776,000 from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' Green Municipal Fund (GMF).

Above the water storage facilities, the parkland now has new asphalt pathways, lighting infrastructure and a new parking area.
The arena at Adie Knox will reopen in time for hockey season in the fall.
The new gymnasium, change rooms, and program rooms will open in late October.
