The e.coli count at Lakeshore's Lakeview Park West Beach reached 399.00, above the limit for safe swimming, but not high enough for public health officials to order the beach's closure.
Testing is done each Wednesday.
Swimming is considered safe at all other public beaches across the region.
So far, over 80 people have registered for the election.
