LaSalle impaired driving initiative leads to no arrests

LaSalle police were busy on Sunday, making sure impaired drivers were not behind the wheel of a vehicle.

The results of a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program were announced on Monday via social media.

The drivers of 107 vehicles were interviewed, but no arrests were made for impaired driving.

One roadside test was performed.

"As the weather is warming up, the LaSalle Police Service is out helping keep our roads and community safe, through traffic initiatives like R.I.D.E. programs," read a X post from LaSalle police.
