Registration now open for spring and summer curling in Windsor

The Winter Olympics may be in the rearview mirror, but the City of Windsor is offering curlers a chance to continue playing their game.

Due to the response provided by residents in a recent community survey, registration is now open for spring and summer curling at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex.

"The ice at the facility will be shared between curling and our hockey and figure skating groups," read a release from the City. "Both hockey and curling lines will be painted on the ice to allow for dual use. Administration will turn the ice over weekly to ensure that all user groups can participate during the spring-summer season."

The 18-week season slides off on Wednesday, April 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and continues weekly through August 12.

The registration fee is $354.75, and will be open until Friday, March 27.

Registration is available in-person at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Centre, 2555 Pulford Street, or by calling (519) 966-6065. Only Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards are accepted.
