A 61-year-old man wanted for the alleged sexual abuse of a 17-year-old girl has turned himself in to Windsor police.
The Windsor Police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit launched an investigation on January 17, after receiving a tip from a friend of the victim.
Investigators learned the teen was encouraged to drink alcohol before she was restrained and sexually assaulted.
She confided in the friend after the attack.
The suspect turned himself in to Windsor police headquarters on Monday morning. He is charged with sexual assault.
The charge has not been proven in court.
