Amherstburg Fire Station, July 31, 2017. (Photo by Maureen Revait) The Amherstburg Fire Department responded to a large rubbish fire on Howard Avenue Saturday night.
Crews were called out just after 7 p.m.
Deputy Chief Ron Meloche said crews from all three fire stations were called in to battle the large blaze. They were on the scene until just before midnight.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
