Leamington man overcome with joy and gratitude for lottery win

Surat Kaewmahawong of Leamington plays the lottery weekly, but he was still overcome with joy and gratitude when he matched the last six numbers in the October 8 ENCORE draw.

Kaewmahawong started jumping up and down when he realized he won $100,000.

"My kids were so shocked," said the 51-year-old. "They couldn't believe it."

Kaewmahawong bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven on Erie Street South in Leamington.

He plays to pay off some bills and save for his son's education.
