Historic cross stolen in Tecumseh

Police are looking for information after the original cross from Ste. Anne's Church in Tecumseh was stolen.

The cross, which dates back to 1891, was stolen sometime between November 6 and 8 from the church located at Tecumseh Road East and Lesperance Road.

The Ontario Provincial Police is asking anyone with information regarding this theft, the current whereabouts of the cross, or any suspicious activity observed in the area to contact the Tecumseh detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
