Teen charged in stabbing after "consensual fight" escalates

A 15-year-old is charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm after another 15-year-old was stabbed.

Windsor Police were called to a home on Bernard Road between Tecumseh Road East and Ypres Avenue around 5 p.m. on Sunday after the two engaged in a consensual fight that escalated.

The victim was stabbed multiple times with a knife, although their injuries were not life-threatening.

An hour later, officers found the suspect nearby and arrested him.

The suspect can not be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
