Improvements in Assumption North and Centennial Parks start Wednesday

The City of Windsor will have crews working in Assumption North Park and Centennial Park starting on Wednesday to fix the riverfront pathway.

The work, if the weather cooperates, is expected to be completed by the end of December. The area being rehabilitated is between Askin Avenue and Campbell Avenue.

The parks will remain open. The areas where crews are working will be fenced off.

The city stated that the project was partially funded by a grant from Trans Canada Trail.
