Windsor police arrest man for mid-October break-and-enter

A 29-year-old man has been charged following a break-in at a west Windsor home three weeks ago.

Windsor police responded to the home on Dominion Boulevard near West Grand Boulevard at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14.

The homeowner said that a man allegedly entered their garage without permission. When the homeowner attempted to confront the man, the suspect hopped a fence into the backyard and tried to force his way into the house. Once that failed, the man ran off.

Police arrested the man on Friday in the area of Longfellow Avenue and Norfolk Street.

He is charged with break-and-enter with intent to commit an offence.

The charge has not been proven in court.
