Windsor-raised drag performer chosen for Canada's Drag Race

As anticipation builds for the upcoming season of Canada's Drag Race, there's word Windsor will be represented in Season 6.

Dulce, born in Mexico and raised in Windsor, is one of the queens cast in the new season.

Dulce's performances are inspired by her Mexican heritage and the powerful Latin women who shaped her life.

The drag performer started her journey in London before moving to the Toronto drag scene and beyond. Whether she's flipping, splitting, or cartwheeling into a death drop, her stage presence never fails to entertain.

The show gives drag performers across Canada the opportunity to showcase their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent before a national audience.

Season 6 begins October 31. Since debuting in 2020, Canada's Drag Race has earned 17 Canadian Screen Awards.
