Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island is hosting a pop-up farmer's market in Belle River on Friday night.
The W.E. Heart Local Pop-Up Farmer's Market will be held along Notre Dame Street between Chisolm Street and Fourth Street from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The event is intended to bring the public together with growers and producers in the region ahead of the Thanksgiving Day Weekend.
Some of the W.E. Heart Local partners who will make an appearance on Friday night include the California Cider Co., The Fruit Wagon, Sauve's Country Market, The Walnut Grove Bed & Breakfast, and Stonehill Estates.
"Celebrate the season of harvest with us!" said TWEPI CEO Gordon Orr. "There's no better time to shop local than harvest season! Adding our five W.E. Heart Local partners to the mix of 80-plus vendors during the Belle River Stroll the Streets will help amplify the magnitude of the event itself, but also affords us the opportunity to educate visitors and locals about our program and the incentives to support local."
Visitors can also register for the W.E. Heart Local Digital Pass. The membership-based program highlights the bounty of Essex County and the importance of agriculture in our region.
