Tecumseh celebrates summers' end with bonfire and fireworks

The Town of Tecumseh isn't letting the summer slip by without one final bash to celebrate the season.

It's inviting residents to its End of Summer Celebration on Saturday at Lakewood Park.

Festivities start at 6:30 p.m. with a community bonfire, marshmallow roast, and live beachside music by local artist Max Marshall.

After the bonfire, stay for the fireworks at 9 p.m. from Lakewood Park South.

Parking is limited, so attendees are encouraged to take advantage of a complimentary shuttle service between Tecumseh Arena and Lakewood Park. The service starts at 6 p.m. and the last bus leaves the park at 11 p.m.

There's also a free bike valet service provided by Bike Windsor-Essex.
