Last day for Tunnel Bus is Saturday

Saturday is your final opportunity to take the Tunnel Bus to Detroit.

After that, Transit Windsor will shift its focus. The agency will work to strengthen the city's local network. This follows an extensive review into service performance and community needs.

Transit Windsor will instead prioritize service enhancements on high-demand routes by increasing the frequency of buses, expanding coverage, and improving reliability. The 2025 Transit Windsor Service Plan calls for 20,000 new service hours and several key improvements.

The Tunnel Bus Special Events Service will continue until December 20 for select concerts, sporting events, and other major gatherings in Detroit. Riders can pre-book a seat, and the service also offers tailored schedules.
