Pair facing charges after stabbing

A person is suffering from life-threatening injuries after being assaulted with a knife and bear mace.

Windsor police said they were called to Charlie Brooks Court around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officers learned that a verbal argument between three people turned violent. They say the victim was allegedly stabbed by a man and sprayed in the face with bear mace by a woman.

The pair took off before police arrived.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested later that night and was charged with assault with a weapon and administering a noxious substance with intent to injure.

A 34-year-old man was arrested the following morning and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and failure to comply with a release order.

None of the charges have been proven in court.

Anyone with information should call the Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830.
