Meth, marijuana seized at Ambassador Bridge

Two people were stopped from crossing the Ambassador Bridge February 8 after drugs were seized.

The United States Custom and Border Protection (CPB) said meth, cannabis and cannabis products were discovered by CBP officers.

Officers said the travellers attempted to make a U-turn on the bridge deck but were intercepted.

The drugs were allegedly found after a K9 search.

Information on the suspects or if charges were laid were not immediately available.
