Crews were called at around 10:30 a.m. to the home on Alexis Road near Vimy Avenue.
Firefighters had to cut into one side of the house at one point, creating a massive plume of smoke.
Two people were displaced, and fire offcials say one person was treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the blaze is undetermined.
