The Major Crimes Unit issued a warrant on Wednesday morning for 50-year-old William Benjamin McDonald.
Few details were provided, but McDonald is wanted on nine sexual assault-related counts pertaining to a single investigation.
Police reported on Wednesday afternoon that the suspect had been arrested.
The charges have not been proven in court.
