The Ontario Provincial Police arrested a man wanted on 27 charges by the Windsor Police.
The Windsor Police Auto Theft Unit issued an arrest warrant last week after four instances of vehicle thefts from parking lots in industrial areas of the city.
After the arrest warrant was published, the suspect was arrested in Essex and then transferred into the custody of the Windsor Police.
The 29-year-old suspect is facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, wearing a disguise, fraud, unauthorized use of a credit card, and dangerous driving.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
