Windsor police continue to investigate the murder of 69-year-old Reginald John Frickey, who died from a head injury early Friday morning.
Police say the victim's wife arrived at their Highland Avenue home around 7:30 a.m. and found his body.
There was no sign of forced entry at the home and nothing was missing. Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident.
"The offender is purposely avoiding the cameras. We believe he knew the cameras were there so that's why we think he picked this residence. We don't have a motive right now so that's what we are trying to determine at this point," said Staff Sergeant Ted Novak.
Investigators are looking to identify two suspects who were seen in the area at the time of the incident.
The first suspect is described as a White male with a stocky build. He wore a maroon hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and darker shoes.
The second suspect is a White male. He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, a black backpack, and black running shoes with white soles.
Anyone in the area with surveillance footage between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service.
