Windsor man scratches off a $2M prize

After years of buying scratch-off tickets, a Windsor man is celebrating his first big win.

David Glysinskie purchased an Instant 20X Supreme ticket and learned he had revealed the top prize of $2-million.

Glysinskie picked up his prize cheque this week at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

"I played my ticket at home. At first, I saw the prize of $100,000 and was so happy. Then, I realized I had yet to reveal the Multiplier," said Glysinskie. "When I discovered I had actually won twenty times the original prize, I froze. I had to do the calculation on my phone to make sure the number I had in my head was correct."

He plans to invest his winnings for retirement and put some in savings for his children.

Glysinskie picked up his winning ticket at the Busy Bee Convenience Store on Tecumseh Road West in Windsor.
