UWindsor ranking on Times Higher Education World University Rankings climbs

The University of Windsor continues to climb the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The university climbed 14 spots to 542 overall on the 2025 list. There are 2,092 institutions evaluated worldwide.

"We are thrilled to see UWindsor continue its ascent in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings,” said Robert Aguirre, Provost and Vice-President, Academic ."This recognition is a testament to the incredible work of our faculty, staff, and students who are driving meaningful change through research, teaching, and community engagement.”

Amongst Canadian universities, the University of Windsor is ranked 20th out of 33 institutions. In Ontario, UWindsor ranks fourth among non-medical universities.

"Maintaining and improving our global standing in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings reflects the collective effort of the entire University of Windsor community," said Dr. Aguirre. "Our continued progress is a reflection of the impactful work being done across campus, from research and teaching to the lasting contributions our students and faculty are making around the world."
