Charges laid after impaired driving crash

A man is facing impaired driving charges after a two-vehicle collision in east Windsor early Tuesday morning.

Emergency services responded to the crash at Lauzon Line and Lauzon Road around 1:30 a.m. A pickup truck overturned, trapping its driver inside. Windsor Fire and Rescue Services extricated the driver.

The driver of the pickup truck, his two passengers, and the driver of the sedan were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said the pickup truck was northbound on Lauzon Road and collided with a sedan driving eastbound on Lauzon Line.

Officers determined the driver of the pickup was impaired by a drug.
