UPDATE: OPP reopens Old Tecumseh Road in Lakeshore after train derailment

A road in Lakeshore has been reopened after a train derailment on Friday afternoon.

Few details are available, but Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported the train derailment shortly after 5 p.m.

Old Tecumseh Road was closed at the eastbound Wallace Line.

The OPP reported that the rail cars affected were removed and Old Tecumseh Road was reopened at 6:10 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of damage, or of injuries.
