Body of missing Windsor man found

Windsor Police say the body of a 64-year-old man reported missing at the beginning of the year has been found.

Scott Kersey was last seen on Christmas Day 2023 and was reported missing in January. Searches were conducted in Alexander Park, Ojibway Park, Black Oak Heritage Park, and Malden Park.

His body was discovered in the Detroit River, near the 200 block of Morton Drive, on May 30. Police say his death is not considered suspicious.

No additional details will be released as a result.
