Two people are facing drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop Monday night.

Just before 7 p.m., members of the Windsor Police's Problem-Oriented Policing Unit stopped a vehicle on Church Street near Hanna Street.

The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested after officers discovered they were breaching their release orders.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found 28.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 7.6 grams of crack cocaine, a handheld taser, two digital scales, and $3,800 in cash.

A 48-year-old and a 34-year-old were charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and failure to comply with a release order.
