Pedestrian struck on McNorton Street

An elderly pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a collision Monday morning.

Windsor police were called to McNorton Street between Banwell Road and Waterford Avenue around 8 a.m. They learned a vehicle travelling east on McNorton struck an 87-year-old pedestrian.

The collision reconstruction unit was on the scene for several hours to investigate.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call 519-945-9645.

There's no word on any charges at this time.
