Two arrested during drug trafficking investigation

Over $90,000 of illegal fentanyl was seized during a recent investigation by the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit.

On Thursday, investigators searched a home on Westminister Boulevard between Reginald Street and Lassaline Boulevard. During the search officers seized 367.1 grams of fentanyl, three digital scales, drug paraphernalia and packaging material.

Officers then arrested two suspects at a rental property on Pleasant Place. Investigators seized $3,115 from one of the suspects.

Two people have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
