The Ontario Provincial Police released the results of this past R.I.D.E. campaign and said it laid 353 impaired driving-related charges in the West Region.
Another 55 drivers were suspended after testing in the warn range.
The OPP stepped up its presence on the local roads it patrolled with 247 checkpoints between November 16 and January 1.
It suspended seven drivers who blew in the warn range and charged 34 people with a total of 59 impaired driving offences.
Across Ontario, the provincial police laid 1,472 charges against drivers.
Police conducted 11,421 R.I.D.E. initiatives across the province.
