Amherstburg invites residents to participate in budget process

Before town councillors in Amherstburg get down to the business of deliberating the budget for 2024, it wants to hear from its residents.

The town tables its spending plan on December 4.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to have a direct say in how their tax dollars are utilized," said Mayor Michael Prue. "Resident input matters, and we urge everyone to get involved."

There is an open house on December 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Libro Centre.
