Local home builder commits to match donations to Habitat's new repair program

Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex has partnered with Everjonge Homes to bring in donations for its Repair Revolution program.

The pilot program launched this summer aims to assist residents in maintaining safe, decent, affordable housing.

Everjonge Homes committed to matching all donations to the program up to $100,000.

“Together, we can magnify our impact and accelerate the pace at which we can provide safe, decent, and affordable housing to those who need it most. Imagine the possibilities as more businesses and individuals in our community rallied behind the Repair Revolution," said Fiona Coughlin, executive director of Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex. "Imagine how many lives we could touch, how many neighbourhoods we could transform, and how much hope we could inspire. This challenge is not just about construction; it's about building a brighter future for Windsor, one renovation at a time.”

The repair program is a fee-for-service program. It offers contractor services at an affordable rate for low-income homeowners who are unable to do the work themselves.

Donations to the repair program or other programs at Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex can be made here.
