Suspect sought after series of downtown burglaries

Windsor police are looking for help in identifying a person who allegedly broke into multiple residential units downtown.

Few details have been released, but police say the suspect recently broke into several units of an apartment building in the area of Pelissier Street and University Avenue West.

Investigators have released a pair of images taken from a security camera, and have asked the public to take a look.

Anyone who knows who the person is, or with additional information, should call the Windsor police Target Base Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4350. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
