Improvements coming to west Windsor dog park

The City of Windsor is about to upgrade one of Fido's playgrounds.

The large dog park at Malden Park, on the City's west end, will close later this month to allow crews to make alterations designed to improve the experience of dogs and their owners.

Work will begin the week of July 17, as the City will install additional drainage to improve water shedding. The job will take about four weeks to complete.

The work will only affect Malden's large dog park. The small dog park at Malden Park will remain open.

Dog lovers can take their large dogs to parks at the Remington Booster, Optimist Memorial, and Ford Test Track Parks.

Complete information about the City's dog parks can be found on the City's official website.
