Property crime spree results in arrest of Windsor man

Ontario Provincial Police say a 32-year-old man has been arrested following a series of February break-and-enters.

The alleged crime spree took place on February 18 in Tecumseh. The OPP say a vehicle was stolen from a home on Revland Drive, and there were break-ins at numerous businesses along Manning Road.

Members of the OPP Tecumseh detachment worked with the Essex County Community Street Crime Unit, and on Friday, police announced an arrest.

The Windsor man is charged with two counts of break-and-enter to commit an offence, three counts of disguise with intent, and one count each of break-and-enter with intent to commit an offence, vehicle theft, operating a vehicle while prohibited, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and breach of probation.

The suspect is remanded into custody with a future court date. The charges have yet to be proven in court.
