Arrest made after multiple shots fired in east Windsor

Police have taken one suspect into custody following an incident on Seminole Street early Friday morning.

Around 1 a.m., Windsor police received reports of multiple shots fired in the area of Seminole Street and Aubin Road. Nobody suffered physical injuries, but police said there was damage to property nearby.

Initial investigations led officers to believe a male suspect had discharged a weapon. The Major Crimes Unit later identified the suspect, according to police.

The 31-year-old Windsor man was located near Hawthorne Drive and Lauzon Road shortly after midnight on Saturday, police said. He was taken into custody without incident.

The accused is charged with recklessly discharging a firearm.
