Wolfhead Distillery is going green this St. Patrick's Day by releasing its latest spirit in a paper bottle.
The Vanilla Almond Biscotti Cream Liquor is being released in innovative paper packaging that has a carbon footprint 84 per cent lower than a glass bottle.
Wolfhead Distillery is the first craft distillery in Canada to release a spirit in a paper bottle.
The spirit is formulated with Wolfhead's premium whisky, natural flavours, and dairy.
The bottle was developed in partnership with Kinsbrae Packaging in Cambridge Ontario. Product development, planning and design took nearly two years.
The product can be purchased at the distillery in Amherstburg.
