Suspect wanted after gun fired at a Windsor home

Windsor police are looking for a man who allegedly fired a weapon at an east-end home.

Investigators received a call over the weekend about a 24-year-old man seen on social media pointing a gun at a camera. It turned out that days before, the man fired a single shot at a home in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Robinet Road.

Constable Bianca Jackson said no one was hurt in the incident, and it was not immediately reported to the police.

The suspect has been identified as David "Ivan" Trombley. He is wanted for possession of a firearm without a licence, possession while prohibited, discharging a firearm in an enclosed space, careless use of a weapon, possession of a loaded firearm, mischief under $5,000, and failure to comply with a release order.

Trombley is considered armed and dangerous and should not be directly approached. If you see him or know his whereabouts, call 911 immediately.
