City accepting applications for summer student lottery

The City of Windsor is currently taking applications for the annual summer student lottery program.

The program provides eligible post-secondary students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in various city departments.

Candidates are selected through a computer-based program to ensure the hiring process is fair and equitable. The program randomly draws applications for order of consideration.

Applications must be completed and submitted online by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Results will be posted at the end of January.  The lower your lottery ranking number is, the greater your chances of being contacted for a possible summer employment opportunity with the City of Windsor.  Human Resources will be contacting students about summer employment in the spring.

In addition to the summer lottery positions, the city offers student positions in the skate patrol lottery, sculpture park, recreation program instructor, lifeguard, facility attendant, and marina attendant.
