Man charged after drugs investigation

A Windsor man is facing charges after an investigation by the Windsor Police Service Drugs and Guns Unit.

Officers executed a search warrant at a house on Erie Street East on Thursday. During the search, investigators seized over $8,000 in cocaine and other illicit drugs, a digital scale, brass knuckles, and over $3,500 in cash. A stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle was also seized.

A 43-year-old Windsor man has been charged with eight counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of stolen property. The charges have not been proven in court.
