Spitfires assistant coach has medical emergency during practice

Windsor Spitfires Assistant Coach Andy Delmore is in the hospital after suffering a medical emergency during practice on Monday afternoon.

General Manager Bill Bowler issued a statement saying the medical team attended immediately and Delmore was transported to Windsor Regional Hospital.

On Monday evening, Delmore thanked the team's athletic therapist, Aaron English, and everyone on the ice who helped in during the emergency.

Delmore is in stable condition, and remains in the hospital where he awaits test results.
