With COVID-19, cold, and influenza cases putting pressure on its emergency department, Erie Shores Healthcare is expanding one of its clinics.
The COVID Clinical Assessment Centre is now the COVID, Cold and Flu Care Clinic.
It will treat those suffering from the symptoms of any of those viruses and anyone needing a COVID-19 PCR test.
Patients need to book an appointment ahead of time by calling 519-326-2373 ext. 4263 or going online. Calls will be taken seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The initiative is part of a greater provincial effort to ease the strain on emergency departments across Ontario.
