Suspicious person seen around Essex County homes

The Essex County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is looking for a suspicious person seen sneaking around multiple properties.

Officers were called to a home on Cameron Avenue in the Town of Essex around 10:35 p.m. on June 2. The complainant reported an unknown man was seen looking through her front window. The man was captured on the homeowner's surveillance camera. The man was gone before the police arrived.

Around 11 p.m. on June 12, a homeowner on County Road 34 in the Town of Tecumseh reported he scared off a man looking into his front window.

The man was seen on surveillance video tiptoeing onto the porch and being scared off.

He is described as a white man, with brown hair, and glasses.
