The City of Windsor hopes it will get a lot of responses to its latest survey on redeveloping Lanspeary Park in the Ottawa Street Business Improvement Area.
Now that the nearly 100-year-old greenhouse is gone, the park is due for a makeover, and the city wants to know what should go in the space the greenhouse used to fill.

The greenhouse used to sit at the corner of Giles Boulevard East and Pierre Avenue. The city built a new one recently in Jackson Park.
The park is now 104-years-old, and the city hopes the public will help write its next chapter.
Lanspeary Park has three main heritage features, the stone walls and steel gates at the entrance, the bandshell, and a stone-clad building that used to service the greenhouse. Each of the features and the pathways is aging and appear worn.
It also includes a popular ice pad, washrooms, central plaza, and 11.5 acres of green space.
The city has set aside funding in the capital budget this year, next year, and in 2025.
A slide presentation on the city's website illustrates some of the ideas for the redevelopment, including an expanded family area and playground, a new gazebo, a splash pad, a community garden, new benches and picnic tables.
The survey closes on April 19.
