Public input needed on new strategic plan at U of W

The public has been asked by the University of Windsor to provide suggestions on its future.

The university announced last week that it had begun a process of strategic planning that will help it move forward. The strategy, entitled "Aspire: Together for Tomorrow", was launched this past spring, and in the months since, has provided multiple chances for the community to give input on what U of W's should be in the years to come.

Since the last strategic plan was approved over a decade ago, the school has undergone significant changes, particularly in infrastructure, with the creation of new buildings to house parking and university programs, and the redevelopment of existing buildings.

U of W President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Robert Gordon said the public's suggestions will play a vital role in creating the path forward.

Communities both on and off-campus will be asked to give their suggestions online. The strategic plan will be developed throughout the spring and summer of 2022 and be ready for approval by the U of W Board of Governors by autumn.
