Man arrested after LaSalle bank robbery

A Windsor man has been arrested after a bank was robbed in LaSalle on Saturday.

According to police, a man went into the CIBC Bank on Malden Road around 10 a.m. and demanded cash. The teller complied and the man took off on a bicycle.

Police say a weapon was not used during the robbery.

On Wednesday, the LaSalle Police Service said they arrested and charged a 32-year-old Windsor man in connection to the incident. He has been charged with robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, and breach of probation. The charges have not been proven in court.
