Police investigating suspicious fire on Caron Avenue

Police in Windsor are investigating following a fire on Caron Avenue that has caused over $110,000 in damages.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service first reported the blaze on Caron Avenue near Part Street West shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in less than an hour and no injuries have been reported.

Fire officials said four people have been displaced due to the fire.

A fire investigator has attended the scene and the blaze has been deemed suspicious, however, the cause remains undetermined. The Windsor Police Service has since taken over the investigation.
